Size 1 is where our story began: an exceptionally small feeding tube created for vulnerable baby animals and the people determined to give them a chance. At just 0.6 mm in diameter, it is the smallest tube in our Lumenline collection, with single lumen construction and a smooth, rounded tip.
Size 1’s narrow diameter requires especially thorough formula straining to remove clumps and particles before use.

Our products are made specifically for veterinary care, neonatal and baby animal feeding, wildlife rehabilitation, rescue and foster care, exotic animal care, and other animal care applications.

Lumenline is made exclusively by The Peculiar Purple Possum. The line grew from the practical needs of wildlife rehabilitation and has expanded to serve a broader range of trained animal caregivers. Use and care
For use by trained veterinary professionals, wildlife rehabilitators, and experienced animal caregivers, or under qualified, experienced guidance. Select tube diameter according to the animal’s anatomy, species, and intended application, not age or weight alone.
Wash before use and clean promptly afterward. Do not force formula through a tube that resists flushing. Discard any tube that is damaged or obstructed.

I really needed some feeding tubes and could not believe how quickly they were shipped and arrived. She even put a couple of extra syringes in with my order at no charge. Thanks to the fast shipping all of my rescued babies are doing great.
Excellent tubes for feeding joey opossums.
With care and cleaning, they last well (if they don't get scrunched up in a ball and chomped on by baby bunnies who suddenly decide they're done with formula).

I ordered 2.8 tubes and was sent these instead. I didn’t realize you were changing your tube designs. I wanted to send these back and exchange them for what I ordered. I come to find out I can’t. You don’t take phone calls and you don’t take returns. Sigh

I apologize for the confusion. I checked the order from 4/8/26 and it was for 10 size 1.8 tubes. We are a one person operation and with the volume of orders we do not have the capacity for returns processing. I’m happy to refund your order, however. Although these smaller tubes help the old versions were more flexible and I thought less stressful for me to use. Love the Peculiar Purple Opossum though. Thanks for all you do.

Although I have yet to use it, this product is perfect for neonatal opossum babies. I look forward to properly caring for the next babies that come through. There is no other place to get tubes this small. The fact the tubing comes in medical grade sterile packaging is amazing! Also, I would like to thank the purple possum for including a storage container for it! The whole experience was fantastic, I can't thank you enough for designing the perfect product.
One leaks and the other has 3 kinks very close to each other like the tube was crimped or something. The case was nice, but I will not purchase tubes from this source again, both came in bent and with kinks in them that made them completely unsafe or unusable.
